Provide training in the field of mother and child care, especially in the ultrasound and provide ultrasound equipment in the rural areas of Northern Tanzania region Arusha, Moshi and Karatu

Offer at least 3 of the candidates selected by the foundation for the 3 monthly ultrasound training in the KCMC academic hospital in Moshi. Provide graduate candidates with an extra month of hands-on training.

The Mount Meru Foundation wants to provide the rural areas of Karatu with antenatal checks supported by ultrasound. In addition, together with the Driving Nurses Foundation, she wants to set up a mobile service in which the Driving Nurses Foundation will take care of transport and emergency services. These are facilitated from the Karatu Lutheran Hospital. Mount Meru Foundation will organize ultrasound training and, if necessary, give ultrasound equipment on loan.

The project in Moshi is used as an example for the Karatu region where we want to offer the same support as in lower Moshi.

Conducting exploratory research into the need for a similar project in Himo and the hinterland.

Approach sponsors. And set up other promotions to generate money.

The packaging campaign, which was set up in 2019, will continue in 2020.
