Provide education in the field of mother and child care and provide ultrasound equipment in the rural areas of the North Tanzania region of Arusha and Moshi.
In cooperation with the Foundation Driving Nurses, the Mount Meru Foundation wants to provide training in the fields of obstetrics and ultrasound and ultrasound equipment to the emergency workers working in rural areas around Moshi.
The Driving Nurses Foundation provides transportation with the already operating "mamabus" and emergency services that are facilitated from the TPC Hospital. Mount Meru Foundation will organize the ultrasound training courses and provide an ultrasound equipment on loan. For this she will search for a suitable ultrasound device
The concept in lower Moshi is used as a test region for the Arusha region (for which there is a request for assistance from Dr Wonanji R.M.O.) where we want to offer the same support as lower Moshi.
